1901: living at 3 duke St SW Manchester. son in law with her:Henry Leigh c 1867. His children are Margaret Leigh c 1885Manchester, William c 1897, Manchester and Henry c 1898,Manchester. Presumably married one of Mary Ann's daughters,Selina or Margaret who died before 1901.1

On the 1861 census, Mary Ann is a lodger at 29 Regent St, Salford and her birthplace is recorded as Burmuda, W Indies . On 1871 census, living as a lodger at 29 Regent St, Salford, birthplace given as Burmonder, India.

On the 1891 census widowed, living at 21 Clegg St, Hulme, Manchester, birthplace given as Bermuda, W Indies. This is difficult to read properly.

On the 1901 census, Mary Ann is a widow at 3 Duke St, Manchester and she has a son in law, Henry Leigh at her house. Henry is a widower with three children.

 

Possible death registered 1918 (Q4 1918 Chorlton 8c 1531) aged 75 years.
