Charles was with James Alfred KAY when he drowned in the Yarra River at Studley Park Kew in 1891.
Charles made his will on 29th May 1962. He named his sons, Colin and Leslie as two of the Executors.
Among his bequests he left £2,000 each to his son Charles Henry MILLIST and his daughter Nancy Amelia WHITE. He left his property to the South New Zealand Confernece of Seventh Day Adventists. His wife, Mary Elizabeth MILLIST, had the use of the house on this property, until her death, and then it reverted to the Church.
